1h appointment that includes an assessment, treatment using Swedish techniques and advanced manual therapy techniques, reassessment and remedial exercise as necessary.

This is a post operation (non-cancer related) massage for all stages of healing. Light and/or deep techniques are used to break up dense swelling/fibrosis, decrease swelling and increase lymphatic drainage. All follow up appointments can be booked as lymphatic massage therapy. In this 1h session, you and your therapist will go over your health history, do and assessment, come up with a treatment plan, go through informed consent AND have a lymphatic drainage session. Recommendations for follow up treatments as well as home care will also be part of this appointment. You will be provided with a receipt that says registered occupational therapy.
