LU LIU is a licensed acupuncturist with a Doctorate in Acupuncture (DAc) and a strong foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She earned her bachelor’s degree in Acupuncture and Massage from Inner Mongolia Medical University in China, where she trained in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and integrative healthcare. She further advanced her education at Bastyr University, completing both her master’s and doctoral studies with a focus on evidence-based acupuncture and holistic medicine. Her clinical experience includes The Third Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University, Bastyr Clinic for Natural Health, and Harborview Medical Center, where she provided acupuncture treatments for pain management, post-surgical recovery, and internal medicine conditions. Through these diverse clinical settings, she gained experience working alongside multidisciplinary teams to integrate acupuncture into modern healthcare. Dr. Liu is currently expanding her expertise in gynecology and women’s health, with a focus on menstrual health, hormonal balance, and postnatal recovery. She continues to develop her knowledge in this field while providing patient-centered care using acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, and other TCM modalities.
