Dr. Bash is a Physical Therapist in the Boston area who specializes in treating and preventing running injuries as well as other orthopedic conditions. Dr. Bash has been a Physical Therapist for 8 years as well as a Personal Trainer for 20 years. Education/Career: Bash graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Athletic Training. While on co-op at Northeastern he worked at area high schools, colleges, as well as the New England Patriots during the 2004 Super Bowl season. Once he graduated, he went on to work at Boston College as an Athletic Trainer. Ultimately wanting to learn more and not be limited in how he treats patients, he went back to school to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Franklin Pierce University. Bash then began to work at an Outpatient Orthopedic clinic upon graduating and worked with patients aged 8-95 with various injuries. Bash has also taken several continuing education courses and certifications including Certified Strength Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Graston Technique Certified (Level 1 and 2), Full Body Active Release Technique Certified, Integrative Dry Needling and Selective Functional Movement Assessment. He loves to learn and continues to take various courses to gain knowledge so he can provide the best treatments for his patients. Personal Background: Bash is an avid endurance athlete. He has completed 15 marathons, including 4 Boston marathons. He has also competed in 7 Ironman triathlons and 15 half Ironman’s. In 2021, he finished 2 nd at Ironman Waco qualifying for the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. In 2022, he then fulfilled a life long dream of competing and finishing the Ironman World Championships. He has also qualified for the Half Ironman World Championship 4 times. He can relate to what some of his patients have been going through due to injuries from overtraining, as he has dealt with his own personal injuries throughout the years. When he is not working, Bash loves spending time with his wife and two daughters. He is either at the park or racing them around the block. He loves being outside with them and tries to instill the value of living a healthy, active lifestyle.
