Shelby Ankerfelt is a graduate from Northwestern Health Sciences University, who finished her Masters of Acupuncture in August of 2025 and Masters of Integrative and Functional Nutrition in December 2025. Shelby started her career in healthcare by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2016, and worked in nursing homes, long-term care facilities and the Saint Cloud, Centracare hospital. She attended Saint Cloud State University and graduated with a Baccalaureate of Science in Biomedical Sciences in 2021. Shelby’s clinical focus is on blending traditional Chinese theory and acupuncture with the more modern functional nutrition theories to support her patients in the best way possible. She received specialized training in Bao Loc, Vietnam working with chronic body pain and life-long illnesses and has also trained in pediatric oncology, sports acupuncture and pain management. Shelby believes that Eastern medicine can complement the new discoveries of Western medicine to provide whole-person, patient-centered healthcare.
