Service disponible en français. Véronique earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa in 2002. Originally from rural Ontario, she briefly worked in Ottawa before venturing out to discover the East Coast, where she worked in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Later, Véronique worked in rural Australia for a year before returning to Nova Scotia, the place she now calls “home.” She has trained extensively in manual therapy and received her diploma in Intermediate Manual and Manipulative therapy in 2010 and the Advanced Diploma in 2013. She is registered as a Fellow with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMPT). CAMPT-Certified physiotherapists offer clinical expertise from advanced training to help our patients get better, recover faster and stay healthier. She has also completed post-graduate courses in muscle imbalances, acupuncture, core stabilization, and functional dry needling. Working mainly in private practice, Véronique has gained knowledge in treating various orthopedic conditions of all age groups at various fitness levels. Her treatment approach is hands-on with a focus on exercise and education to help everyone she treats be involved in their rehabilitation. Outside of work, Véronique loves spending time outdoors with her husband and twin boys and stays active with biking, hiking, cross country skiing and yoga.

Please book an Assessment if this is your first visit to Citadel Physiotherapy, if you are a returning client with a new injury or exacerbation of an old injury or if it has been more than 3 months since you were last seen. The additional time will allow your physiotherapist time to take a proper history, do a proper assessment and begin your treatment.
