Gurman completed her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with a minor in Biology at Simon Fraser University and went on to earn her Doctorate in Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne, Australia, in 2015. She has extensive experience in private practice and has completed additional training in Functional Dry Needling (Levels I & II), pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain, shoulder rehabilitation, and scoliosis management. Gurman treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including back, neck, and shoulder pain; acute and chronic injuries; pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation; pregnancy-related pelvic pain; tension headaches; tendonitis (such as tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, and plantar fasciitis); and soft-tissue or repetitive strain injuries from work or motor vehicle accidents. Outside of the clinic, Gurman enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, playing with her dog, and being with family and friends.
