Hi, my name is Tamara, and I am a registered massage therapist of 15 years, specializing in deep tissue massage and nervous system regulation. Over my years of working with many, I have seen and experienced for myself, the healing power of touch and massage and feel grateful to be able to offer this to our community. I work to create a safe, invitational, compassion-oriented space to help facilitate healing. I graduated from the College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2008, received my Bachelor of Science before that in 2003, and I have continued with training and education in the years since to develop into the multi-faceted practitioner I am today. I use a combination of techniques to target tension in muscles and connective tissue through myofascial release, trigger point therapy and friction to break down scar tissue that causes “knots” and discomfort. This is a full body deep tissue massage, including back, neck, shoulders, legs, feet, arms and hands, ending with a relaxing face and scalp massage.
