Dr. Sarah Louie is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine who received her degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She has many years of experience treating: infertility, menstrual pain, & PCOS, diabetes & weight gain, anxiety & insomnia, muscle tension & joint pain, digestive concerns, and recently Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Dr. Louie uses various tools to optimize the health of her patients including: diet plans, lifestyle recommendations, stress reduction techniques, strengthening exercises, herbal medicines, supplements, vitamin injections, acupuncture, gua sha and cupping therapy. IV Therapy and Ultrasonic facial treatments will soon be added to the list of treatment options as well. She can provide full physical examinations as well as requisition diagnostic blood tests. Dr. Louie strives to meet patients where they are at in life and prepares custom treatment plans to help them achieve their health goals. On her days off, you can find her spending time enjoying the outdoors, trying out new cultural foods and attempting to make them at home, listening to podcasts, and creating Youtube videos for prospective naturopathic doctors.
Massage Therapy
This appointment is dedicated to massage ONLY. No other treatments such as acupuncture, diet recommendations, supplement recommendations, blood tests, IV therapy, etc will be provided during this visit. If you are using insurance, this appointment will only be covered if you have naturopathic medicine coverage. Massage therapy coverage may not be used when working with a Naturopathic Doctor.
Naturopath
This 60-75 minute long appointment is dedicated to understanding your entire health history. All new patients must have an Initial Assessment before treatment can be provided. In person is preferred for specifically the initial assessment so that physical exams can be completed, however virtual appointments are available. The first 30-45 mins will involve history taking, the following 15 mins will involve physical exams, the last 15 mins will involve discussion of blood testing or some preliminary treatment recommendations if your case is not too complex.
