3455 Fairview Street, Unit 27, Burlington, ON, L7N 2R4
Dr. Ashley Worobec received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary, where she competed for the U of C Dinos in both track & field and cross-country running. Following her lifelong love of sport and athletics, she moved across Canada to attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Worobec has a special interest in sports injuries, pediatric care, and the peri/menopausal patient, and has pursued extensive post-graduate training throughout her career. She is Full Body Certified in ART (Active Release Techniques), certified in the Graston Technique, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University, and Functional Range Conditioning (FRC). A lifelong athlete, Dr. Worobec continues to embrace new physical challenges. Her sporting background includes competitive running, marathons, CrossFit, and, more recently, HYROX competitions. She is happiest when she is moving, training, competing, or simply spending time outdoors. Sport is truly a family affair for the Worobecs; her daughter plays rep volleyball, while her son plays both high school and rep football, and much of the family's schedule revolves around practices, games, tournaments, and competitions. Family vacations are often planned around sporting events, whether that means travelling to watch a game, cheer from the sidelines, or experience a new sporting destination. Dr. Worobec and her family are very involved in their local community and are proud to be part of the Assumption School athletic community, where her husband has taught Phys Ed for the last 20+ years. Whether supporting school teams, attending local sporting events, or cheering on their children and fellow athletes, sport and community are a big part of family life. When she isn't at the clinic, Dr. Worobec enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two teenagers, two dogs, and inside on the couch with her two cats. She is a passionate sports fan, loves being active, and is a strong advocate for helping people of all ages and abilities stay active and continue doing the things they love. Dr. Worobec also works as an examiner with the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board (CCEB) and is an award-winning blogger who enjoys sharing her knowledge and experiences with an engaged online community through her website, DrWorobec.com.
