Max is a Registered Massage Therapist at Aurora Health and Wellness. He provides individualized and evidence-informed massage therapy. His approach is rooted in presence, compassion, and a deep respect for the body’s natural capacity to heal when given the right conditions. Before becoming an RMT, Max spent over five years working as a certified personal trainer, coaching individuals and groups in strength training, movement, and rehabilitation. Next three years as Raynor massage practitioner helped shaped his manual therapeutic skills which continue to influence his work today. Max aims to create a practice where he attempts to provide relief for conditions such as: Back pain, muscle spasms, chronic neck pain & tension headaches, postural tension & muscle imbalances, joint dysfunctions, tendonitis, and nerve pain . Some of the techniques Max leverages to help create relief for the conditions mentioned above include: Myofascial release, active manual release, joint mobilizations & joint play, passive and active stretching, specific and broad compressions, and several other GSM relaxation techniques to help support your nervous system. In addition to treatment, Max is passionate about providing personalized home care, including guided stretches, accessory movements or strength exercises, and everyday activity modifications tailored to each patient’s needs. Outside the clinic, Max can be found hiking local trails, paddling the coastline, exploring new movement practices, or reading about fascia, neuroscience, and philosophy.
