Wendy brings Reflexology to the clinic Reflexology is a type of massage that involves applying different amounts of pressure to the feet, hands, and ears. It’s based on a theory that these body parts are connected to certain organs and body systems. People who practice this technique are called reflexologists. Wendy was certified in the 80’s with Touch Point Reflexology on the Mainland. She hails from northeast UK. Her life has consisted of dance, track, piano, sports, singing, animal and environmental advocacy. At work she provided ergonomic orientations and served on the emergency preparedness committee.
Reflexology is an ancient holistic technique. Reflexes in the feet directly correspond to glands, organs, systems and parts of the body. Thumb or caterpillar walking, hooking and twisting are ways to work and relax the entire foot. This way body systems can function normally as they are meant to. Reflexology is a practical and non-invasive practice. For a comfortable session clients wear comfy loose clothing with easy access up to the knees. Please note: We are unable to direct bill to insurance companies for Reflexology.
