Back At It Sports & Wellness
Zoe has a degree in Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia- Okanagan campus. In University, Zoe solidified her love for anatomy, physiology and pathology, but always came back to feeling like a piece was missing. After seeking out treatment for her own injuries, Zoe found Acupuncture, a treatment that addressed dis-ease by treating the whole body and getting to the root cause. She completed her Diploma of Acupuncture. Here she spent 3 years continuing her education of biomedical sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine foundations, diagnostics and therapeutic techniques. She took additional courses to emphasize orthopedic acupuncture, myofascial needling, muscle testing and physical examination techniques. Style of Acupuncture: Zoe values a detailed intake to get to the root cause of the issue, from there she uses various TCM modalities (acupuncture, cupping, tui na/massage) to address the complaint. She places an emphasis on giving her patients tools and understanding of their bodies to prevent future injury and keep the patient involved in their own recovery.
