This testing is performed by a physiotherapist and is designed for high functioning and athletic patients to monitor their progress with their rehabilitation and determine readiness for return to sport. This testing may be recommended by your surgeon at specific times post-operative. This testing is currently available for shoulder instability (anterior/posterior dislocations and surgeries), rotator cuff repair surgery, pectoralis tendon surgery and ACL reconstruction (pre-operative and post-operative). This assessment and testing sessions involves a review of your injury/surgery, structured warm up, strength and functional testing using VALD isometric and force plate technology and a review of your test results. A copy of your results is provided to you, which you can share with your physiotherapist, coach, trainer, surgeon or other members of your care team. It is a high energy, maximum effort assessment. Please reach out to Dana at [email protected] for more information, or if you want to know if this testing is right for you.
