Dr. MacIntyre is a highly motivated individual who is passionate about improving the health and wellness of his community. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, where he graduated on the Dean’s Honours List. While at Brock, he was a member of the varsity men’s hockey team and was recognized for his athletic and academic success by being named a CIS academic All-Canadian on numerous occasions. He then went on to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario, where he graduated with cum laude distinction. He has since continued to pursue an extensive amount of additional training in soft tissue therapy and manual skills development. Dr. MacIntyre is a full body Active Release Techniques provider, a Contemporary Medical Acupuncture provider, and is Graston Technique certified. His passion for knowledge and patient care fuels his drive for continued professional development. Prior to moving to Nova Scotia, Dr. MacIntyre founded Heritage Chiropractic and Wellness, a successful multidisciplinary clinic in his home town of Sioux Lookout, Ontario. He is very excited to incorporate his management and clinical experience into Strada Health and Fitness.
