Larissa is a graduate from A Gathering Place Massage Therapy School. Her specialties include craniosacral therapy, manual lymphatic drainage and sound healing. She has in-depth, hands on training from Upledger Institute in craniosacral therapy, KLOSE certified (CMLD-T) in Vodder method of manual lymphatic drainage, and learned sound healing from Center of Sound in St. Louis. In addition, Larissa also offers myofascial release, Swedish massage, Thai reflexology, aromatherapy, and trigger point therapy. Through incorporating these practices she creates a healing, nervous system regulating landscape to facilitate the bodies innate ability to heal itself. She embarked on this great work after receiving a profound calling to heal herself and change her life for the better. Massage and bodywork have played a critical role in her healing journey and she wants to share its healing effects with the world. During her free time you can find her reading, writing, painting, chilling with the birds on her back porch with a cup of coffee, and spending time with her kids. Her favorite form of exercise is Hatha/Yin yoga and hiking. She loves spending time in nature under the stars, and long thought provoking conversations with friends.
In this 60 minute session I will collaborate with you to design the best individual treatment plan. This session is great for those wishing to concentrate on one area of the body. In this session I may use a combination of traditional massage techniques, craniosacral therapy, manual lymphatic drainage and sound healing to facilitate nervous system regulation, soft tissue mobilization, as well as pain and tension relief.
