Karissa obtained her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. Born and raised in Prince George, BC, Karissa has a passion for health and movement that originated from growing up in the dance community. Her physiotherapy sessions are focused around goal-setting and providing the tools to achieve those goals, whether it’s day-to-day activities or sport-specific training. At a session with Karissa, you can expect a combination of targeted exercises as well as manual therapy and modalities to assist you further. When not in the clinic, you can find Karissa on the trails with her dog or enjoying some of the excellent cultures Prince George has to offer. Credentials: - IMS: Foundations Health Education Vancouver - Certification in Assessment and Treatment of Artistic Athletes: Pivot Dancer - Level 1 Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Certification - Lower Quadrant Mulligan Training.

Initial Physiotherapy Assessment

New Clients! An initial assessment includes a comprehensive history of your concern or injury, a hands on assessment, and initiation of a program to address your concerns. Your physiotherapist will provide recommendations and education on what to expect for your recovery. Please allot 45-60 minutes for your session. Along with booking your initial appointment we advise you to book at least two more follow-up appointments.
