Meet Eleni Boosalis I graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and completed my Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University. I have a special interest in treating dancers, recognizing the unique demands that dance places on the body. I am also passionate about helping people of all ages with a wide range of conditions. My journey toward becoming a physiotherapist was inspired by my background in dance. As a pre-professional and competitive dancer, I understand the challenges and frustrations that come with being an injured athlete. This personal experience fueled my passion for helping others navigate their rehabilitation journeys, particularly when it comes to returning to the activities they love. I am also a certified dance instructor through the British Association of Teachers of Dancing and an advanced member of the Royal Academy of Dance. I am passionate about strength training and have worked as a certified personal trainer for several years. This experience has provided me with a deep understanding of exercise prescription and program design, which I incorporate into my rehabilitation approach to help patients build strength and achieve their best performance. I also gained valuable experience working with McMaster University varsity athletes as a Student Athletic Therapist, both on the sideline and in the clinic. I take an evidence-based approach that combines manual therapy, education, and therapeutic exercises to create treatment plans tailored to each individual’s unique needs. My goal is to ensure that you meet your goals—whether you’re looking to rehabilitate an injury, manage pain or discomfort, or prevent future issues. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through strength training, Pilates, hiking, and dance.
