Chantel “Tillie” Roice (she/they) adores the magic of bodywork. Through years of work with flower essences, herbalism, and earth-based spirituality, she has learned to gracefully share intuitive massage therapy, listening gently to the body and the spirit with hand and heart. Her attentive, slow-and-steady massage style brings a heightened sense of peace and wellbeing. Tillie’s favorite modalities include Swedish massage, deep tissue, triggerpoint, cupping, aromatherapy and flower essence therapy. Tillie was a chiropractic assistant providing massage and manual therapy from 2021-23, and is currently the Lead Therapist at Yomassage Social Spa in Portland, Oregon. She also offers bodywork, herbal oils and flower essences out of her own private practice, Frog and Willow LLC, in the Hollywood neighborhood. When she's not working as an LMT, catch her making and selling her artwork around the city, spending time with loved ones, or watching nerdy living history cooking shows. Tillie is a queer and neurodivergent artist, poet, and licensed massage therapist who strives to offer a friendly bodywork space to her community; book an appointment today to unwind, recover, and reconnect with a greater sense of wholeness.

Massage

Massage oil is used with smooth, gliding strokes. Pressure is customized to your preference to promote relaxation, and ease muscle tension. A classic massage that allows you to slip into a calm state. 1 hour is best if you'd like a light relaxation massage or if you have one focus area (for example, back or legs) that needs deeper work. 90 minutes or 2 hours allows adequate time for deeper massage techniques, assisted stretching or multiple focus areas.

The lymphatic system is part of your immune system and cleans waste material such as proteins, cancer cells, viruses, and dead cells about 20 times faster than the body is able to do on its own. This type of massage can increase the speed of healing from injuries or surgery, reduce inflammation, swelling, and water weight, improve sleep, skin appearance and increase energy.
