Marven Bani (PT, BScHons, MScPT) graduated with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Queen’s University. He began his studies with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree specializing in Kinesiology from York University. This allowed him to develop a passion and understanding on the science of the human body. Marven has a strong basis in managing acute and chronic conditions, sports injuries, low back and neck pain, rotator cuff injuries, total knee and hip replacements, functional rehabilitation, in addition to a variety of other musculoskeletal impairments. Marven utilizes a variety of treatment techniques in order to facilitate your full recovery. He has extensive experience and training with manual therapy, exercise prescription, acupuncture, therapeutic taping, Mackenzie method for diagnosis and treatment, specific manual stretching, soft tissues, and myofascial release/massage, and cupping therapy. Marven completed his level 5 courses in manual therapy through the orthopaedic division and eventually will gain his FCAMPT designation. He also provides concussion management for patients that have had a concussion from sports, Motor vehicle accidents, or falls. Marven believes in empowering his patients with the knowledge and ensures they understand their injury. He treats every client with an individualized treatment plan and develops goals that will optimise their recovery. He is eager to meet and help you get back to doing what you love, returning to your sport. Not only does Marven have a passion for helping and treating patients, but he also enjoys playing soccer, weight training, travelling, and volunteering in the community. Marven is currently a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA), Orthopaedic Division and Ontario Physiotherapy Association (OPA) & has been trained in Shift Concussion Management Program.
