Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that targets the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue with firmer pressure and slower strokes. It is designed to release chronic muscle tension and pain, break down knots, and improve mobility and flexibility. This type of massage is often recommended for individuals with chronic pain, restricted movement, or lingering tension from previous injuries.
