Hello, and thank you for reading to learn about me and my approach to physiotherapy. From a young age I focused my goals on a career in physiotherapy, driven by my enjoyment of many different sports (curling, soccer, skiing, volleyball, running, just to name a few), and an underlying drive to help others. I understand the negative impact is has on your life when you can’t participate in the things that matter to you. After growing up in Ottawa, my undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University. I completed my Master of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Toronto in 2013. I’ve been living and working in Guelph since 2017. In my physiotherapy practice, I see people of all ages, with various musculoskeletal pain problems. It’s important for me to understand the activity and lifestyle goals for each client, as you play an important active role in treatment. This ensures we work towards movement goals that are meaningful for each individual. Assessment and treatment blends evidence-based-practice with client-centered tailoring. Lately, in my spare time you’ll find me laughing and keeping up with my two young children (aged 3 and 1), and our family dog. The most rewarding part of my workday is seeing my clients return to enjoying the sports and activities that they love!
This treatment session option is booked when there are multiple regions or complexities in the plan of care. More time is allotted to be able to provide quality treatment, exercise prescription and ongoing education to ensure rehabilitation goals are being met in their entirety.
