Lauren grew up in Kingston, Jamaica until she was 16, and then moved to Toronto, Ontario before she moved to Victoria 4 years ago. She’s fallen in love with classic West Coast activities like hiking and paddle boarding, and has a very active background, playing sports like golf, tennis, ballet, tap, swimming, horseback riding, netball, badminton, and table tennis. In her past careers she has been a writer, a commercial producer, a bartender, and a door to door sales person just to name a few. But her favourite career is being an acupuncturist by far. She found acupuncture through her own healing journey as a busy, burnt out entrepreneur, working 2 jobs and struggling to manage scoliosis, exhaustion, and chronic pain. Now with a strong foundation in holistic wellness and a deep passion for promoting health and healing, she loves to support injury & pain management, stress management, sleep & emotional regulation, as well as scoliosis support, fertility and cosmetic acupuncture. . She loves all things movement, anatomy, astrology, travel, design, food, and building her community!
