Shayan received his honours bachelor in science at TMU and later obtained his clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy in the United States. He was inspired to pursue Physical therapy from his own experiences with rehabilitation due to scoliosis. His passion for this field grew after being able to see the impact his physiotherapist was able to have on the community. Shayan has had great opportunities to learn from leaders in the field across the United States and Canada from geriatric care to outpatient orthopedics. He believes in an inter-professional healthcare model where the patient and the cause of their symptoms are at the forefront of their care. Shayan utilizes a multidimensional approach to care utilizing various techniques including PNF stretching, METs, joint mobilizations and manipulation, therapeutic exercise and patient education.
