Declynn grew up in the small town of Qualicum Beach and fell in love with how massage therapy blends intuition with scientific critical thinking. She attended the West Coast College of Massage Therapy and enjoyed it so much that she decided to continue her education at the University of Victoria in addition to developing her massage therapy practice. In 2022 she received her Bachelor of Science (Honours), with a concentration in Neuroscience, and decided to join the great team at Right Fit clinic! This love of learning and critical thinking has created a practitioner who values working cooperatively with her patients to help them achieve their health goals. Declynn sees a varied clientele and enthusiastically supports them addressing stress management, chronic pain, pre/post-natal care, and occupational injuries. She also has a special interest in supporting woman’s health and oncology patients. She has taken specific training in post-mastectomy and scar tissue massage to ensure her patients receive the highest level of care. Declynn works hard to keep up to date on scientific literature regarding the safety and efficacy of massage therapy and always looks for ways to expand her knowledge base. Declynn enjoys introducing patients to a gentler style of massage and uses a combination of deep tissue work, relaxation techniques and a balanced home care prescription to support patients in their health journey. She is very creative and loves coming up with exercises that suit the patient in front of her and helps them reach their goals without overwhelming them. When Declynn isn’t out in her garden or buried in books she works as a clinical supervisor at WCCMT enjoys sharing her knowledge with the newest generation of RMTs.

Manual lymph drainage for patients managing lymphedema, venous insufficiency edema, post-mastectomy and cancer related edema. Treatment includes initial health history intake, hands on assessment, treatment plan, MLD/CDT treatment* *Please note, MLD cannot be performed when there is an active infection, blood clots, Chronic Congestive Heart Failure, Cardiac Disease causing edema, renal failure, undiagnosed tumours and some skin conditions.
