Optimize Physiotherapy
Having obtained a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education degree from Queen’s University, Paul decided to travel overseas to complete his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland. While overseas, he gained additional experiences working with local soccer and rugby academies. His passion for rehabilitation, fitness and human performance began through the multiple sports he played growing up in Ottawa. Paul’s main sport of hockey gave him the opportunity to compete at the Junior A level and he has also given back and coached at the minor hockey level. Sports have developed Paul’s special interest in treating athletes of all levels and ages. He utilizes a combination of functional dry needling, patient education, manual therapy and progressive exercises to help his patients achieve their goals and needs. Additionally, he has furthered his education with the Titleist Performance Institute to help golfers identify physical limitations and how it can directly correlate to their golf swing.
