In her career Jade has worked in a variety of Massage environments, ranging from a high end spa where her focus was mainly on full body relaxation, to a high end gym where she worked mostly on post workout injuries and flexibility. She has also worked at a variety of health clinics, in tandem with other health care professionals. Such as chiropractors, doctors and physiotherapists. Therapeutic massage is treatment that is more focused on dealing with a specific issue or injury. The pressure and technique will vary depending on the individual, but the goal is resolution of the issue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff neck, back and shoulders, TMJ, Sciatica, Tendonitis, and other overuse injuries. The treatment can be uncomfortable, so communicate with your therapist during the treatment and to report any lasting discomfort post-treatment. For treatments longer than 60 min, please call 613-830-1380 to book.
